I study the digital economy of the Persian Gulf and the political economy of digital transformation.
I am a PhD candidate in World Economy at MGIMO University, working on the digital economy of the Persian Gulf and the political economy of digital transformation. My academic interests sit at the intersection of world economy, technology markets, institutional change, and development policy.
Alongside my academic work, I serve as CEO of WS Global / Websiberia, a civilian IT studio focused on web development, digital products, and applied technology projects. This practical background informs my research interest in how digital sectors are built, regulated, financed, and scaled.
My current research examines how Persian Gulf countries develop digital sectors, attract technology investment, and reshape economic institutions through digital transformation. I am particularly interested in the role of state strategy, private capital, platform markets, and human capital in the formation of new digital growth models.
